Acting, not to become someone else. To become more yourself.
Professional acting, voice and on-camera training for people who don't plan to become actors — but who live every day in front of other people's attention.
"You already know how to be yourself. The question is what happens when someone starts watching."
The work is not to add more. It is often to remove what gets in the way — the extra control, the rehearsed reaction, the version of you built for an audience.
Professional acting tools. Real-life application.
Lyskov Studio is not a school for people who want to become professional actors — though actors train here too. It's built for anyone who spends their day being watched: talking, meeting, presenting, pitching, showing up on camera. Under attention, most people start to perform a version of themselves instead of simply being themselves. Acting technique, used correctly, is not the art of pretending. It's a practical tool for staying present, available, and real when someone is paying attention.
Be yourself around others.
Someone walks into the room, and I start controlling myself.
Sound like yourself.
I need to speak, and my voice becomes smaller than I am.
Be yourself on camera.
The camera turns on, and I become a different version of myself.
Three classes. One method: Welcome to Yourself™.
Each program works on a different moment where attention makes people lose access to themselves. No acting experience required — actors and non-actors train side by side.
01
ACTING 1: FREEDOM
"I am tired of performing myself."
This is an acting class, but no one learns to play a character. You learn to notice your own attention, impulse, and the habit of controlling yourself before anyone else can judge you — through partnership, impulse, and physical and emotional freedom. The first level of the Welcome to Yourself™ method.

02
VOICE & SPEECH
"My voice makes me smaller."
Not a class about getting a "better" voice or a polished, standardized delivery — about closing the gap between how confident you feel inside and how thin or rushed you actually sound. We don't give you a new voice. We help you free the one you have.

03
ON CAMERA
"In life I'm normal. Why do I become someone else on video?"
You put the phone down. Record. Watch. Delete. Record again. Each participant gets individual time in front of the camera, personal direction, playback, and a next take — so you don't just hear feedback, you see the change on screen.

Not a lecture. A practice.
Classes are built almost entirely from practical exercises — attention, partnership, impulse, breath, voice, camera work. You don't discuss how nice it would be to feel freer. You work.
You work with attention, partnership, and impulse — and see your own automatic habits the moment they happen, not in theory.
Small groups only. Every session, every participant gets real time, real attention, and real feedback from the room.
Four weeks, one session a week, two hours each — enough time to build a real practice, not just an idea about one.
No promises of instant transformation. A realistic result: you notice sooner when you start controlling yourself — and return to yourself faster.
Original methodology by Artem Lyskov.
Artem Lyskov is a Russian-American actor, director, casting director, and faculty member at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. A graduate of the Vakhtangov Theatre School in Moscow and the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC, he has performed on international stages — from the Metropolitan Opera to modern screen work in both the U.S. and Russia.
He is the founder of Welcome to Yourself™, the method behind Freedom, Game, and Performance, and the founder of Streetcasting US, a casting company known for discovering authentic, real-life talent — an eye for presence that shapes how he teaches Voice & Speech and On Camera. Welcome to Yourself™ was developed over 15 years across Moscow and New York, integrating the emotional depth of Russian theatre with a practical, contemporary approach to presence.
Lyskov Studio Miami brings this method, and the same small-group, hands-on approach, to a new city.
Real people. Real results.
"It changed how I speak, how I listen, how I live."
"It was truly a transformational weekend. I feel renewed, grounded, and inspired."
"Not only fun — the exercises are genuinely helpful in life. I joined by accident and ended up staying."
Before you reserve a spot
Do I need acting experience?
No. No acting experience is required for Freedom, Voice & Speech, or On Camera. Actors and non-actors work together in every class.
Is this therapy or coaching?
No. This is a professional acting practice — practical, action-based, built from real acting technique. It's not psychotherapy, and it doesn't promise to treat anxiety, trauma, or depression.
What language are classes taught in?
Classes are conducted bilingually — in English and Russian — so both communities can train together.
Where and when in Miami?
Dates, times, and the studio location for the Founding Miami Groups will be shared directly with everyone who reserves a spot. Seats are limited.
Why is On Camera priced differently?
Because the work is individual. Each participant gets personal camera time, direction, and playback inside a small group of 4–5 — not a shared group exercise.

Seats are limited by design — every group stays small. Tell us which program you're interested in and we'll follow up with dates, exact price, and location.
